A diferencia de otros artistas de su \u00e9poca, Hopper no se interesaba por las grandes ciudades industriales, sino por los pueblos peque\u00f1os y las zonas rurales.<\/p>\n<p>Las obras de Hopper se crearon en un momento de grandes cambios sociales y econ\u00f3micos en Estados Unidos. La Gran Depresi\u00f3n de la d\u00e9cada de 1930 provoc\u00f3 un gran desempleo y pobreza, lo que se refleja en la atm\u00f3sfera melanc\u00f3lica y solitaria de muchas de las obras de Hopper.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:51\"><strong>Algunas de las obras m\u00e1s importantes de Hopper son:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"15:1-18:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:176\"><strong>Nighthawks (1942)<\/strong>: una pintura que presenta a cuatro personas en un bar nocturno, iluminado por una luz tenue.
