Llegu\u00e9 a su trabajo casi por azar, navegando por una p\u00e1gina dedicada a la fotograf\u00eda, y me encontr\u00e9 con una advertencia que m\u00e1s que un l\u00edmite funciona como invitaci\u00f3n: \u00abNo pienses bajo ning\u00fan concepto que todo lo que ves aqu\u00ed pueda existir de verdad&#8230;\u00bb. Esa frase, escrita en su perfil de Flickr, es la llave que abre su universo.<\/p>\n<p>Y qu\u00e9 universo. Sus paisajes \u2014on\u00edricos, suspendidos, casi con vida propia\u2014 no pretenden documentar el mundo, sino reinventarlo. Priaux trabaja la luz como quien afina un instrumento antiguo: con paciencia, con o\u00eddo, con una sensibilidad que no se aprende en manuales. En sus im\u00e1genes se mezcla la melancol\u00eda y el asombro, una especie de nostalgia por lugares que quiz\u00e1 nunca existieron, pero que uno siente haber habitado en sue\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Me ha sorprendido gratamente su capacidad para transformar lo cotidiano en algo m\u00e1gico, sin caer en artificios vac\u00edos. Su fotograf\u00eda no enga\u00f1a: seduce.
